School-Based Physical Therapist - Peabody, Massachusetts
Job Description
Make a meaningful impact working with students as a Physical Therapist on-site one day per week for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to support the well-being and development of students in a collaborative educational environment near Peabody, MA.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Massachusetts Physical Therapy license in good standing
- Willingness to obtain additional Massachusetts educational certifications, if required
- Previous experience in a school-based Physical Therapy setting preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with individual education plans.
- Evaluate and document student progress, making data-driven recommendations for continued success.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines.
- Participate in meetings and team discussions to support the best outcomes for students.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and district protocols.
