Make an impact supporting students’ growth and development as a School Physical Therapist! This contract-based opportunity is conveniently located near Lawrence, MA, and covers the school year from early September 2026 to mid-June 2027. You’ll work onsite one day a week, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to help students achieve their highest levels of mobility, function, and independence within the educational environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current, active Physical Therapy license in Massachusetts
  • Familiarity with or readiness to obtain MA educational certifications, if required
  • Previous experience providing PT services in a school or pediatric setting is highly regarded
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with a collaborative, solution-focused mindset
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to students based on IEP goals
  • Participate in evaluations, write reports, and help determine eligibility for services
  • Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to support each student’s unique needs
  • Integrate therapeutic activities within the school day to improve students’ physical participation and safety
  • Provide training, resources, and ongoing guidance to staff and caregivers
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
