Physical Therapist - School Setting in Lawrence, MA

Seeking an enthusiastic and qualified physical therapist to provide contracted support in an engaging school environment near the Lawrence, MA area. This part-time, onsite opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact with students over the 2026–2027 academic year.

Qualifications & Required Experience:

• Valid and active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license
• Potential for additional Massachusetts educational certifications as required
• Experience, or strong interest, in working with students in a school setting
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt therapeutic plans based on student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services in accordance with student IEPs and district guidelines
• Develop and implement individualized treatment programs to support student access and participation in educational activities
• Collaborate with educators, administration, and families to best support student success
• Document student progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary planning

Schedule & Commitment:

• Onsite position: No virtual/remote option; presence required at the educational facility
• Contract duration: September 1, 2026, to June 14, 2027
• One day per week, allowing autonomy and flexibility within your overall professional schedule
