Qualifications & Desired Skills:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with an active Massachusetts PT license
  • Ability to provide documentation of possible additional MA educational certifications if requested
  • School-based PT experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families
  • Strong organizational abilities to maintain thorough records and progress notes

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver onsite physical therapy services to students, helping them achieve their educational and developmental goals
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to assess student needs and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor, document, and report on student progress, supporting both short-term rehabilitation and long-term growth
  • Adapt interventions and activities as necessary to meet diverse physical abilities and needs in the school setting
  • Participate in team meetings and maintain timely communications as part of the student support network
