School Physical Therapist | Methuen, Massachusetts

Make a meaningful impact in a school-based setting by providing essential physical therapy services to students in the Methuen, MA area. This contract opportunity runs from September 1, 2026, to June 14, 2027, and offers a chance to support educational and developmental outcomes for children in a collaborative, onsite role. Working one day a week, you will use your expertise to facilitate student participation and success in the classroom and beyond.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current and active Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts
• Ability or willingness to obtain additional state educational certifications, as needed
• Experience working with children or in a school environment preferred
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
• Adaptability and commitment to student-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy interventions and assessments in accordance with students’ individualized plans
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy into educational programs
• Maintain up-to-date records and documentation as required by school and state guidelines
• Support students in achieving greater independence, mobility, and access to school activities
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of comprehensive student supports
