Key Qualifications:
- Active state Physical Therapist license required
- Prior experience in school-based PT settings preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work individually and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families across diverse backgrounds
- Commitment to supporting K-12 students with a variety of physical and functional needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive PT assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for K–12 students
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to implement interventions aligned with students’ educational needs and goals
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Provide direct, onsite physical therapy sessions in accordance with current best practices and school procedures
- Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to support students’ motor development and independence
