School-Based Physical Therapist - Lawrence, Massachusetts

Key Qualifications:

• Active state Physical Therapist license required
• Prior experience in school-based PT settings preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work individually and as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families across diverse backgrounds
• Commitment to supporting K-12 students with a variety of physical and functional needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive PT assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for K–12 students
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to implement interventions aligned with students’ educational needs and goals
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Provide direct, onsite physical therapy sessions in accordance with current best practices and school procedures
• Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to support students’ motor development and independence
