Make a meaningful difference for K-12 students by providing vital occupational therapy support in a dynamic educational setting. This contract opportunity is tailored for a licensed occupational therapist eager to collaborate with educators and families to empower students of varied ages and abilities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active Occupational Therapy license (required)
  • Demonstrated experience working with K-12 student populations
  • Familiarity with school-based OT practice, IEPs, and therapeutic interventions
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a per diem, onsite contract role
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Clinical reasoning and adaptability to meet diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to K-12 students within school settings
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to implement effective strategies
  • Document student progress and maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing valuable input on students' functional performance and recommendations
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages student success and independence
