Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist in the vibrant area near Quincy, MA! This role is uniquely positioned to make a positive difference in the lives of children and adolescents across the K-12 age range. You'll work collaboratively with educators, families, and other professionals to foster student growth, independence, and participation in academic and daily activities.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Current, active Occupational Therapist licensure in Massachusetts
  • Previous experience or strong interest in providing OT services in a school setting
  • Solid understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by K-12 students
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
  • Compassionate, adaptable, and comfortable working within multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs and educational goals
  • Conduct assessments and develop tailored intervention plans that promote student participation and success
  • Collaborate with teachers, aides, and family members to support classroom integration and generalization of skills
  • Maintain effective documentation and uphold compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions for holistic student care

Position Details & Perks:This position offers a set schedule of 35 hours across five days weekly, commencing September 1, 2026, through November 1, 2027.
