Step into an impactful school-based Occupational Therapist opportunity, supporting students across multiple sites in a district-wide capacity. This contract position offers the flexibility of a full-time schedule at 32.5 hours per week, with the option to consider a four-day, 24-hour workweek for interested professionals. You'll work with an engaging caseload of approximately 30 students, making a meaningful difference in their educational experience.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license
  • Experience in pediatric, educational, or school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements
  • Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload and adapt to changing needs
  • Commitment to fostering independence and participation for students of varying abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services within school environments, supporting students’ fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to implement strategies and accommodations that facilitate classroom success
  • Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and participate in team meetings
  • Serve as a resource for occupational therapy best practices throughout the district
