What You’ll Bring:
- Active and current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Massachusetts
- Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Passion for fostering student independence and participation within the school environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload spanning ages from kindergarten through high school
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ fine motor, sensory, and adaptive functioning within the classroom setting
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative OT services, utilizing best practices for students with diverse needs
- Document evaluations, session notes, and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate actively in team meetings, contributing your expertise to educational planning
- Provide resources and strategies for teachers and families to support student development
This role spans from September 1, 2026, through November 1, 2027, with a consistent 35-hour work week across five days, ensuring structure and stability.
