Key Qualifications:

  • Current and active Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
  • Experience in a school-based setting highly valued
  • Ability to work effectively with students in kindergarten through grade 12
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, families, and students
  • Dedication to fostering student independence and participation in daily school activities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and provide direct therapy to students according to their individual education plans (IEPs) in accordance with school policies
  • Document evaluations, progress reports, and treatment sessions promptly and accurately
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student goals and ensure consistency across environments
  • Integrate therapeutic interventions into the classroom setting to promote functional outcomes
  • Remain onsite during scheduled hours, working three days per week throughout the academic year
