Qualifications & Desired Skills:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification
  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Excellent communication and collaborative abilities
  • Knowledge of special education procedures and relevant legal guidelines

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results for eligibility and program planning
  • Provide counseling and intervention strategies to students individually and in groups
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective educational and behavioral interventions
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and help students with special needs access appropriate services
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support positive student outcomes
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district guidelines
