Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Connecticut Educator Certification for School Psychologists
  • Fluency in Spanish (bilingual)
  • Experience supporting diverse student populations
  • Ability to adapt and manage various grade levels and caseloads
  • Strong skills in assessment, consultation, and collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and report on student needs
  • Develop individualized recommendations and interventions to support academic, behavioral, and emotional success
  • Deliver culturally responsive counseling and guidance to students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to create effective learning environments
  • Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings, sharing professional insights
  • Maintain clear, confidential documentation and accurate records
