Inspire, support, and make a lasting difference—two rewarding opportunities are available for experienced Special Education Teachers passionate about helping students thrive. Secure a contract role for the 2026-27 academic year, serving middle or elementary school students in-person. You’ll join a welcoming educational environment where collaboration, advocacy, and individualized support are at the heart of student success.

What We’re Seeking:

  • Valid state certification and all credentials required for Special Education in Vermont
  • Experience working as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in school settings
  • Expertise in adapting curriculum, implementing IEPs, and differentiating instruction
  • Commitment to in-person service—remote work is not available for these positions
  • Strong communication skills to effectively work with families, staff, and administrators
  • Passion for fostering growth, independence, and positive outcomes for each student

Roles Available:

  • Middle School Special Educator supporting students at the middle school level
  • Elementary Special Educator working with young learners in an elementary setting
  • Positions are dedicated to in-person instruction only

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to monitor student progress
  • Provide direct instruction, accommodations, and modifications to meet student needs
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment
  • Document, track, and report on educational and behavioral progress
