Ideal candidates have a passion for special education and experience working with students with diverse needs. Both positions are structured as contract roles, offering the opportunity for meaningful impact throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, valid Special Education Teacher certification compliant with state requirements
- Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher in K-8 settings strongly preferred
- Ability to fulfill the position fully in-person (no virtual/remote options available)
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to building supportive, inclusive learning environments
Position Details:
- Contract runs August 28, 2026, to June 18, 2027
- Full-time hours (37.5 per week)
- Two available roles:
- Middle School Special Educator
- Elementary School Special Educator
- In-person engagement at local school campuses
Duties Include:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver targeted instruction, accommodations, and modifications
- Collaborate with general educators and support staff
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Foster positive relationships with students and families
