Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students and making a meaningful impact within school communities near Anoka, MN. This role focuses on delivering Occupational Therapy services in dynamic educational environments, supporting students in specialized settings. Multiple positions are open, each offering a unique chance to collaborate with diverse teams and meet individual student needs.

Current openings include:

  • Position 1: Leave of Absence, August 31 – November 13, North Education Center. Work four days per week (32 hours, .8 FTE) supporting students in Setting IV special education.
  • Position 2: Leave of Absence, September 21 – January 4 (no work during winter break), South Education Center. Full-time, five days per week (40 hours), focusing on Setting IV special education.
  • Position 3: Full school year, split across the south metro district/Ann Bremmer Education Center (20 hours per week). At Ann Bremmer, all students are in Setting IV placements; in the south metro, student settings will vary.
  • Position 4: Full-time, pending district confirmation.

Ideal candidates will bring:

  • Current experience providing school-based occupational therapy
  • Proven ability to support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
  • Successful completion of agency onboarding and district background check
  • Reliable transportation for split or multiple site assignments
  • Flexibility to follow school schedules and assignment durations
  • Positive references from previous placements, if already credentialed

Primary responsibilities:

  • Assess and implement OT interventions in accordance with students’ IEPs
  • Collaborate with educators, other therapists, and families
  • Document services and progress accurately
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students
