Occupational Therapist School Setting in Tacoma, WA

Multiple Occupational Therapist roles are available, creating a supportive environment for professional collaboration and mentorship. You’ll work with a diverse caseload of students, offering creative, evidence-based interventions tailored to each student's unique needs.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in Washington state
• Experience working with children in educational or pediatric settings—school-based experience preferred
• Familiarity with IEPs, goal development, and progress monitoring for K-12 students
• Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate services and maintain documentation
• Flexibility and problem-solving skills in a dynamic educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans for students across grade levels
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to help students access the curriculum and enhance daily functioning
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to integrate occupational therapy strategies into the classroom
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Adapt therapy approaches to accommodate a variety of learning styles and challenges
