Step into a dynamic and impactful school-based occupational therapy role focused on supporting student success in the classroom environment. This contract position offers an enriching opportunity to make a meaningful difference across two school sites, working with diverse student needs.

In this full-time, on-site role, you'll work from mid-August through late May, serving a caseload of approximately 50 students—split evenly between two schools. Collaborate with educational teams and families to create tailored interventions, address IEP goals, and foster skills for greater student independence.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapy license is required
  • Minimum of one year of classroom-based experience
  • Must have, or be in the process of obtaining, a CDE license (cannot sign TEE)
  • Ability to provide a copy of CDE license or COOL upon application (application cannot be considered without this documentation)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Dedication to evidence-based practice and collaborative school teaming

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and support students’ fine motor, sensory, and self-regulation needs within an educational setting
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that align with each student’s academic and developmental goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Serve both schools on a balanced schedule (0.5 FTE at each), supporting approximately 25 students per site
  • Provide consultation and training for teachers and staff on classroom accommodations
