What we’re looking for:
- Active Colorado Department of Education certificate for Occupational Therapy (ages birth through 21)
- Experience in school-based OT is preferred
- Versatility to provide care for students ranging in age within K–12
- Strong collaborative and communication skills to work effectively with educators, families, and other support staff
- Flexibility and willingness to travel between assigned sites as needed
- Committed to confidentiality, professionalism, and student-centered practices
- Willingness to complete a background check following offer acceptance
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services for students, accommodating a variety of needs and developmental levels
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized intervention plans based on students’ IEPs and collaborative goals
- Maintain meticulous and timely documentation, ensuring compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and communicate student progress effectively
- Support teachers and staff with strategies to promote accessibility and participation in educational activities
