Step into a meaningful contract opportunity where your expertise as a mental health professional will support the social and emotional well-being of elementary students. You'll work directly with general education students both individually and in groups, providing vital social-emotional support and collaborating with school staff to establish positive behavioral programs or professional learning initiatives as needed.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Master’s degree required—client will not consider bachelor’s-level candidates
  • Valid LARA license (visit the Michigan LARA website for licensing details)
  • One of the following credentials:
    • Licensed master’s level psychologist or social worker
    • Limited licensed master’s level psychologist or social worker (with appropriate supervision)
    • MDE credentialed master’s level school psychologist
    • Licensed master’s level marriage and family therapist
    • Licensed master’s level (or limited licensed) professional counselor (with corresponding supervision)
    • School Counselor License, Michigan Teaching Certificate (with school counselor endorsement), Preliminary or Temporary School Counselor License (with agreement to pursue full licensure)
  • Experience working with students in a school setting is strongly preferred

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver individual and group social-emotional support to elementary students
  • Support classrooms and buildings in promoting positive behavior and mental health
  • Guide and collaborate with educators to implement evidence-based strategies
  • Participate in professional learning to continually develop your practice
