School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Davison, Michigan

This impactful, onsite contract opportunity runs through June 2027, with a consistent weekly schedule and a manageable caseload. You’ll support students from general education backgrounds, as well as those with mild speech or cognitive needs and some on the spectrum, at several conveniently clustered school locations. Each day allows you to focus your efforts at a single school, providing both variety and stability in your routine.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active SLP-CCC certification
• Eligible for (or current) state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Previous school-based experience preferred, particularly supporting K-12 and early childhood populations
• Strong communication, assessment, and collaborative skills
• Competence with IEP writing, progress documentation, and family/caregiver communication

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEPs
• Provide direct therapy services to small caseloads of approximately 10 students per school, each with diverse but mild needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and support staff
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation for all students served
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting
• Foster supportive, engaging environments that encourage student communication and progress
