Key Qualifications:
- Active state licensure as a school social worker
- Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Familiarity with developing and implementing individual and group interventions
- Strong skills in crisis intervention, behavioral assessment, and collaboration
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to support emotional and social development
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to identify students’ needs and appropriate supports
- Participate in intervention planning and implementation for students requiring additional assistance
- Maintain timely and accurate case documentation, including required reports and records
- Collaborate in the creation and delivery of professional development for staff on related topics
- Support positive school culture and foster inclusivity among students
