School-Based Social Worker - Rochester, New York

Key Qualifications:

• Valid New York State School Social Work certification (SSW)
• Active LMSW or LCSW license required
• Experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and advocacy skills
• Passion for supporting diverse student populations and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social-emotional and behavioral support to students, including individual and group counseling
• Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention strategies
• Conduct assessments, crisis interventions, and develop individualized plans to ensure student success
• Monitor and track student progress, maintaining appropriate records and documentation
• Serve as a liaison between home, school, and community resources to ensure comprehensive student support
• Participate in school team meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary discussions
