Seeking experienced school social workers passionate about student support and collaboration. Two full-time, onsite contract opportunities are available for the upcoming academic year near Hartford, CT. Both roles involve working Monday through Friday for 35 hours per week with dedicated students and a supportive educational team. Candidates must have current credentials and be eager to contribute to student well-being.

- Based at a large, diverse campus

Elementary Social Worker
- Assignment from August 31, 2026, to September 30, 2026 (with possible extension)
- Serves elementary-aged students in a lively school environment
- Primarily responsible for evaluations
- Full-time, daytime schedule
What You’ll Need:
- Active CT DPH and CT (071) school social worker licenses or certifications
- Proven experience in school-based social work
- Comfortable supporting students during short-leave assignments
- Strong skills in conducting student evaluations
- Ability to start assignments onsite—virtual work is not available
- Willingness to share licensure/certification documentation upfront
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations
- Collaborate effectively with school staff and student families
- Provide targeted support to meet high school or elementary caseload needs
- Document and communicate progress and recommendations
- Serve as a resource for crisis intervention as needed
