Make a difference in educational settings by utilizing your expertise as a School Psychologist in a contract role near Machesney Park, IL. Collaborate directly with students, educators, and families to support diverse learning needs and promote a healthy, inclusive school environment. Your skills will contribute to creating effective intervention strategies and fostering student growth and well-being.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience with assessments, IEP development, and student counseling within a school setting
  • Familiarity with Special Education Law and SLI (Speech or Language Impairment) classifications
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students, including those with SLI
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs
  • Provide direct mental health supports, consultation, and crisis intervention as needed
  • Collaborate with educators and families to design and implement effective interventions
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines
  • Support data-driven decision-making to promote positive student outcomes
