Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois PEL and School Psychologist license (pending accepted for travelers)
  • Experience with PreK–8th grade populations preferred
  • Familiarity with evaluation processes and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS)
  • Ability to run domain meetings, oversee EI transition processes, and conduct evaluations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and document domain meetings for special education evaluations
  • Complete comprehensive psychoeducational assessments (about 60+ per year)
  • Oversee early intervention (EI) transitions, including conducting TPBAs
  • Attend MTSS referral meetings for individual cases as needed
  • Remain centrally housed at the district office rather than traditional day-to-day student/staff involvement
