Key Qualifications:

• Active Michigan Special Education Teacher license (must be current and verifiable)
• Experience supporting students in high school settings
• Familiarity with best practices for ASD classroom instruction
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to commit to onsite work throughout the school year (no remote options)
• Positive attitude and adaptability in dynamic classroom environments

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to the needs of students with ASD
• Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Utilize diverse strategies to promote student engagement and academic growth
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting approaches as needed
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, general education staff, and families to support students’ progress
• Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment for all students
