Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Michigan Teaching Certification with a Special Education (SPED) endorsement.
• Prior classroom experience working with students who have mild to moderate disabilities is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the IEP process, with the ability to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized programs.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills; ability to positively interact with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s goals, accommodations, and instruction levels.

• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with families about achievements or concerns.
