Step into a vital role supporting students in a dynamic high school environment! We’re seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a full-time, onsite contract position beginning August 24, 2026, and extending through May 2027, with the potential for further extension. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to student success through assessment, counseling, and active involvement in educational planning.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Connecticut licensure and certification for School Psychologists (required).
  • Proven experience working in a school-based setting, preferably in secondary education.
  • Strong background in evaluation administration and PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reporting.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families.
  • Comfort working onsite with a high school caseload.
  • Preparedness for a virtual (Zoom) interview process.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological and educational evaluations for high school students.
  • Compile data and create comprehensive reports for PPT meetings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop and implement educational and behavioral plans.
  • Participate actively in planning, evaluation, and intervention processes for student support.
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for students’ social, emotional, and academic well-being.
