Make a meaningful impact in students’ lives as a full-time Special Education Teacher in a supportive elementary school setting. This contract role offers the chance to dedicate your skills and passion to an ABS (Academic Behavioral Strategist) caseload, directly influencing elementary-aged learners. The position is scheduled to begin on August 25, 2026, and will conclude on June 10, 2027, offering stability through the school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid MN Special Education Teaching License (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
  • Experience working with elementary students in a special education setting, preferably with ABS caseloads
  • Strong classroom management skills and ability to individualize instructional strategies
  • Effective communicator, able to collaborate with general educators, families, and support staff
  • Up-to-date resume highlighting relevant experience and licensure

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters growth for students with diverse learning needs
  • Coordinate with other educators and support professionals to implement interventions and instructional supports
  • Track and document student progress; participate in IEP meetings and case conferences
  • Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations regarding special education
