Qualifications:

• Active Michigan teaching license with appropriate Special Education endorsement (required)
• Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in a resource-room or self-contained middle school environment
• Strong behavioral management, classroom organization, and IEP implementation skills
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with colleagues, parents, and support staff
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet varied learning styles and needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and support to a middle school caseload in an onsite, self-contained resource room
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
