Step into a rewarding contract role providing vital speech-language services to students in a thriving educational community near Houston, TX. In this role, you’ll deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy, manage your own caseload, and make a daily impact by empowering students with communication challenges. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current Texas state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required)
  • Proven experience working in K-12 school settings is essential
  • Ability to support students at elementary or secondary levels, with familiarity providing services in self-contained classrooms beneficial
  • Experience in early childhood centers highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills
  • Comfortable and effective working on-site at multiple campuses (remote work not available)

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, or swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with school and regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Liaise with educators and families to monitor progress and tailor intervention strategies
  • Adapt services for varied student needs, possibly across elementary and secondary campuses
