This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled and licensed SLP who enjoys part-time work and is dedicated to helping children thrive through direct therapy and evaluations.
Assignment Details:
- Start Date: 9/1/2026
- End Date: 5/20/2027
- Weekly Hours: 20 (part-time schedule)
- School Placement: Charlotte Anderson Elementary
- Caseload: Responsible for providing speech/language testing and direct therapeutic services for students with individualized service plans
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist) licensure required
- Must have completed Clinical Fellowship (CFs not accepted)
- Experience working in a school-based environment is strongly preferred
- Proficiency with therapy planning, documentation, and compliance with service plans
- Fingerprints required by Texas state regulations (must be completed quickly if not already on record)
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech/language evaluations and analyze results for service eligibility
- Deliver individualized and small group therapy in accordance with students’ service plans
- Develop IEP-based goals, maintain timely documentation, and collaborate with IEP teams
- Communicate progress and strategies to educators and families
- Participate in school meetings and professional development as requested
