Both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications and Experience Desired:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Valid licensure as an SLP in the state of Texas, or eligibility to obtain
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, or current Clinical Fellow (CFY) status
  • Experience working with pediatric or school-age populations, particularly in a school environment, is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, organization, and ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with communication and speech disorders
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and document progress toward student goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development initiatives as required
  • Maintain accurate records and follow district, state, and federal guidelines for student services
