Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong evaluation and case management skills
- Bilingual fluency for designated positions highly desirable
- Effective communicator and collaborator in multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Manage caseloads involving both monolingual and bilingual students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Coordinate with educators, families, and support staff regarding student progress
- Provide direct therapy services when necessary, tailoring approaches to student needs
- Complete all related documentation in accordance with school and professional standards
