Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence-SLP [CCC] and Clinical Fellowship Year [CFY] candidates encouraged to apply)
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to tailor interventions for a variety of student needs and grade levels
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), documenting progress and goals
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services within the school setting
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student growth
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to educational and legal guidelines
- Support students with diverse backgrounds and needs, fostering an encouraging learning atmosphere
