This pivotal role focuses on engaging with elementary school students, providing critical speech and language therapy services, and furthering educational outcomes for bilingual learners. Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license (CCC required)
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Prior experience in a school setting (elementary level preferred)
  • Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility to work on-site; remote/virtual options are not available
  • Self-contained classroom experience is beneficial

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, diagnose, and deliver therapy services to elementary-aged students with diverse speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans supporting student IEP goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and regulatory standards
  • Serve as a resource for culturally and linguistically diverse students
  • Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to school initiatives
