School Psychologist in Lakewood, OH

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience in school-based psychological services preferred
• Knowledge of conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, facilitating interventions, and collaborating with educational teams
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a caseload of 40-50 students with professionalism and compassion

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments and evaluations for students
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Employ evidence-based interventions tailored to individual student needs
• Provide crisis intervention and collaborate with staff on behavioral and academic supports
• Communicate clearly with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and adhere to ethical guidelines
• Participate in school meetings and parent conferences as needed

Position Details:

• Contract assignment covering the entire 2026-2027 school year
• Start: August 24, 2026 | End: June 7, 2027
• Work schedule: 37.5 hours per week, in one school setting
• Direct support and collaboration with dedicated educational staff
