This fulfilling contract position offers a balanced schedule near Mason, OH, supporting young learners in grades K-5. Enjoy the best of both worlds with a flexible hybrid model—three days per week working remotely of your choice, and two days onsite conducting essential evaluations. School hours run from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing consistency you can count on.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure appropriate for an elementary school setting
- Experience working with elementary (K-5) students, ideally providing both assessment and consultative services
- Proficiency with psychoeducational evaluations, IEP development, and collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Adaptability to thrive in a hybrid work environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments for K-5 students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective intervention plans
- Support the Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) processes
- Provide recommendations and contribute to IEP meetings to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records and comply with special education laws and district procedures
- Balance in-person evaluations with remote consultation, planning, and documentation tasks
