Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school psychologist supporting students’ academic and emotional growth. Bring your expertise in educational and behavioral psychology to an engaging role, serving one building with a manageable caseload of 40-50 students. You’ll play a crucial part in evaluating, creating, and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) while collaborating with educators and families to foster student success.
This contract is set to begin August 24, 2026, and continue through June 7, 2027, offering consistent hours at 37.5 per week. Your contribution will directly impact students’ learning outcomes by providing timely evaluations, targeted interventions, and ongoing support—all within a collaborative and welcoming school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure/certification as a school psychologist.
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and developing IEPs.
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) or Response to Intervention (RTI).
- Strong ability to work as an advocate for students with diverse learning and behavioral needs.
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of current best practices in school psychology and intervention strategies.
Core Responsibilities:
- Complete evaluations and assessments for special education services.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Offer direct and consultative support to students, teachers, and families.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions for academic, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Participate in team meetings, staff consultations, and professional development.
- Maintain professional documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements.
