Job Description
Make a difference as a school psychologist supporting students’ success and well-being throughout the academic year. This contract role runs from August 24, 2026, through June 7, 2027, offering an engaging opportunity to work full-time near Bedford, OH. You’ll serve one building, focusing your expertise on meaningful connections, positive interventions, and thorough evaluation and support.
What we’re seeking:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Ohio
- Experience with student assessments, IEP development, and delivering evidence-based interventions
- Ability to manage a caseload of 40-50 students effectively
- Familiarity with evaluation processes, special education procedures, and collaborative student planning
- Skill in working closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive student evaluations and assessments
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Providing direct and indirect interventions to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Collaborating with staff, administration, and families to ensure the best outcomes for each student
- Maintaining detailed and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
- Acting as a resource and advocate for students, helping to create a positive and inclusive school climate
