Make a meaningful impact on K-8 students while utilizing your occupational therapy expertise across multiple school-related settings. This contract position, conveniently located near Lynnwood, WA, offers an engaging mix of traditional and innovative service delivery—including in-person, home health, teletherapy, and school-based therapy. The role runs from September 1, 2026, through June 16, 2027, at 38.75 hours per week.

Ideal candidates are versatile Occupational Therapists who thrive in a school environment, are passionate about student-centered care, and enjoy adapting their approach to virtual and home settings as needed.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current, active Washington OT license
  • ESA certification required
  • Experience in school-based OT, home health, and/or teletherapy
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric OT interventions for K-8 populations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop and implement IEP/504 goals
  • Previous work in educational teams and building rapport with families
  • Comfortable with technology for virtual service provision

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver skilled occupational therapy to K-8 students across settings (school, home, and teletherapy)
  • Conduct evaluations, write thorough reports, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to promote student success
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Adapt interventions to fit in-person and virtual environments
  • Provide consultative support to staff and families to maximize student access and participation
