Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Washington or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous experience or genuine interest in working with K-12 students within a school setting
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
  • Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Knowledge of IEP (Individualized Education Program) processes and documentation
  • Passion for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite occupational therapy services to students across various grade levels
  • Assess students’ abilities and develop targeted intervention plans to support academic success and independence
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address students’ unique needs within the classroom environment
  • Document evaluation findings, progress reports, and treatment plans in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Offer guidance and education to staff and parents about supporting students’ functional skills
