Occupational Therapist School Setting in Bellingham, WA

This full-time opportunity offers a 40-hour workweek supporting a diverse K-12 caseload, working with students ages 5 to 19. Qualifications/Experience:

• Valid OT or COTA licensure in Washington State (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Previous experience in school settings preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Ability to assess and implement individualized therapy plans for students across different grade levels
• Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration with educators and families
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and positive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students according to their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments to determine students’ therapy needs and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to incorporate therapeutic strategies into daily routines
• Document and track progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed
• Contribute to team efforts aimed at maximizing students’ independence and school participation
