Step into an engaging school-based contract role, providing essential occupational therapy services to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. This position offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children and teenagers, helping them succeed academically and develop vital life skills. With multiple positions available, this is an excellent opportunity for both experienced therapists and those newer to school-based roles.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in Washington State
  • Previous experience as an OT in educational or pediatric settings preferred
  • Ability to support a diverse student population effectively
  • Knowledge of IEPs and school-based therapy documentation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable working onsite in a dynamic school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students from K-12
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and evaluate progress
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to integrate therapy into students’ learning experiences
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal setting, and provide clear documentation
  • Promote student development in areas such as fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care
  • Adapt interventions to meet students' unique needs within the school setting
