Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting middle school students in a dynamic educational environment. Your expertise as a School Psychologist will make a transformative difference for students in grades 6 through 8. This full-time opening is designed for professionals passionate about helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the current school year.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with middle school-aged children (grades 6-8)
  • Familiarity with re-evaluations and psychoeducational assessments
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes and compliance requirements
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload primarily focused on re-evaluations of 35–70 students
  • Conduct cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments as part of comprehensive re-evaluations
  • Provide written reports and actionable recommendations to inform student support plans
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering expertise on student needs and evidence-based interventions
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and administrators to implement strategies that promote student well-being
  • Support school-wide mental health initiatives and contribute to a positive learning environment
