Step into a rewarding role making a direct impact in the lives of students as a dedicated School Psychologist. This contract opportunity focuses on providing essential psychological services, assessments, and collaborative supports within a school environment. Your expertise will play a key role in shaping positive educational experiences, addressing diverse student needs, and fostering a supportive learning atmosphere.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience with SLI (Speech or Language Impairment) preferred
  • Strong background in conducting psychoeducational evaluations
  • Proficiency in counseling, developing intervention strategies, and behavioral management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, families, and staff
  • Commitment to cultural competence and supporting students from diverse backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments
  • Interpret assessment data and provide recommendations to support student growth
  • Develop and help implement IEPs and 504 plans, with a focus on students with SLI
  • Consult with educators, administrators, and families to create effective learning and behavioral strategies
  • Deliver counseling and direct interventions to students individually and in small groups
  • Offer crisis intervention and participate in team meetings to address student needs
  • Contribute to professional development and promote a positive, inclusive school climate
