Key qualifications & desired experience:

• Current Occupational Therapy license (OT) in the state of Ohio
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to plan and implement individual and group therapy sessions
• Capable of managing a caseload and maintaining documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a problem-solving mindset

Primary responsibilities:

• Evaluate students referred for occupational therapy and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy services to students as specified by their IEPs or 504 plans
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ functional and academic success
• Document progress, maintain records, and participate in meetings and parent conferences as needed
• Assist with adapting classroom environments, instructional materials, and daily activities to foster student participation
• Stay current with best practices in pediatric and school-based occupational therapy
