Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students across multiple school sites in a rewarding contract opportunity as a school psychologist. This role is central to a multidisciplinary team, focused on psychoeducational evaluations and discipline-related requests, and plays an integral part in guiding teachers, administrators, students, and their families within an engaging educational environment. The assignment, starting August 18, 2026, and running through May 24, 2027, spans 29 hours per week, offering a balanced schedule across various East Baton Rouge area campuses.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active NASP certification or LSSP from the Louisiana State Board of Examiners and Psychologists
  • Understanding of IDEA compliance and special education eligibility criteria
  • Demonstrated experience conducting psychoeducational assessments, interpreting data, and preparing thorough evaluation reports
  • Organizational and time-management skills to adhere to strict evaluation timelines
  • Ability to collaborate with educational diagnosticians, social workers, SLPs, and administrators
  • Clear, professional communication skills when explaining results and recommendations to parents and school teams
  • Bilingual skills are a plus!
  • Prior experience with multidisciplinary team processes preferred
  • Successful completion of a district background check and fingerprinting required
