Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (Illinois license or eligibility)
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) and IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site OT services across two middle schools
  • Conduct initial and re-evaluations for special education eligibility
  • Collaborate on building-level teams to support students’ success
  • Provide MTSS and IEP support, including consultation for skill generalization
  • Maintain documentation and communication with staff and families
